Iqbal House was named after Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal. He is considered as the great flagbearer of rich tradition of wisdom poetry in Urdu and Persian. Iqbal house is a senior house of Ali Trust College comprising 14 dorms and a House master’s Office. The students residing in the house range from 8th to 12th classes belonging to different provinces, regions and diverse cultures of Pakistan. As Iqbal believed that mutual respect for the cultures of others is the way to achieve unity. As an Islamic reformer, he urged the Muslims to comprehend the Wisdom of the Quran, which is synonymous with the advancement of Science and the Modern World. Eventually, this manifestation of Wisdom would create a smooth ground for a character that will transform society into peace & justice, which is the ultimate destiny having the teachings of Iqbal as its motto.
